4th of July in Las Vegas

Posted On: 07/03/2017

If you’re in Sin City for Independence Day, there are plenty of events to keep you occupied and patriotic. Join hundreds of thousands in the valley to celebrate 241 years of the Declaration of Independence.

Hopefully you like fireworks, because Vegas has plenty! Around 9pm for about 10 minutes, the Strip will light up with red, white and blue with firecrackers set off from the Red Rock Resort and the Green Valley Ranch, hosted by Stations Casino.

If you’re looking to get out of the city, there are plenty of other options just a short shuttle ride away. One place to catch the display is over Cashman Field, the Minor League Baseball team. After the Las Vegas 51s game at 7pm, the sky over the diamond will light up. Another place to catch a fireworks show is Henderson’s Heritage Park, just a shuttle ride from the Strip. Concessions and games begin at 6pm, and the fireworks begin at 9pm. Boulder City also has a fireworks show as a part of their annual Damboree Celebration. Located at Veteran’s Memorial Park, the water park, food and games are perfect to keep children occupied until the fireworks show begin at 9pm.

Las Vegas is always a great place to party, and Independence Day is no different. Make sure to check out your favorite local venues for 4th of July parties, and buy your tickets in advance. Remember, hundreds of thousands of visitors will come to Sin City for the holiday, so don’t leave your plans to chance – make reservations, plan your night and book your transportation ahead of time!
